The Dean of Employee Learning and Development (ELAD) / eLearning leads the development, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive, coordinated programs, curriculum, systems, and organizational development opportunities that promote excellence and innovation for all Pierce College employees. This role advances Pierce College's equity-centered mission by supporting professional development and eLearning opportunities that prioritize antiracism and inclusive practices. The Dean develops and oversees programming in support of strategies that foster and strategize the quality, diversity, and relevance of professional development and eLearning. This position collaborates with administrators, faculty, staff, and other partners to improve equitable student learning and eLearning experiences with a focus on Black & Brown excellence, encourages external support for innovative and effective strategies, and fosters a culture in which professional development and eLearning are valued and supported in alignment with Pierce College's institutional mission and strategic plans. The position reports to the Vice President of Equity, Engagement, and Belonging (EEB) and requires regular and consistent attendance.
