Position Overview :

As a Lab Technician I, you will be responsible for performing chemical analyses, MOR testing, and material releases.

Key Responsibilities :

• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Understand specifications and certify results in accordance with relevant standards.
• Complete job order documentation effectively.
• Utilize basic chemistry lab equipment competently.
• Ensure the proper functionality and calibration of lab testing equipment.
• Train and oversee lab staff regarding individual certification duties.
• Familiarize yourself with relevant ASTM specifications and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Participate in proficiency testing, audits, and round robin programs.
• Communicate lab results efficiently to production staff and management.
• Address various technical and equipment issues effectively.
• Collaborate well in team settings.
• Learn to operate the company's web-based Quality Management software (QT9).
• Proficiently use MS Office tools including Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook.
• Perform data entry accurately.
• Adhere to all lab procedures and SOPs consistently.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail.
• Manage document scanning and filing.
• Generate reports promptly.
• Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
