About The Position

Opportunity Details

Medicus has partnered with a hospital in southeastern Virginia with an opportunity for a Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage.

About the Opportunity :

  • Schedule : Monday-Sunday, 7p-7a, 7 on / 7 off
  • No call shifts
  • Setting : Inpatient, multiple possible locations
  • Patient Volume : 20-30 per day or 8-15 per day
  • Patient Population : Trauma (spine and cranial), elective spine, elective cranial
  • Skills Needed : Drain removal, shunt adjustment, trauma / practice call
  • Team : 8 MDs, 9 APPs
  • EMR : Epic
  • Board-certification required
  • Paid travel & expenses
