About The Position

Job Title : Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)

Profession : Surgical Services

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 8 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years required

License : Valid state license required (must be obtained prior to submission)

Certifications : BLS and CST

Must-Have :

• Inpatient and community hospital experience
• Experience in obstetrics, robotic (DaVinci), and laparoscopic procedures
• Skills in case cart, scrub, scope / probe reprocessing, equipment documentation, aseptic technique, patient positioning, and room turnover
• Previous charge experience preferred

Description :

This position requires a Certified Surgical Technologist.

The role involves assisting during surgical procedures by preparing the operating room and ensuring all necessary equipment is available and functioning.

You will be responsible for maintaining a sterile environment during procedures and assisting surgeons as needed.

Strong communication skills are essential for effective teamwork in the surgical setting.

Experience with high-level disinfection (HLD) is preferred.

This position may require participation in on-call rotations and weekend shifts.

Skills in performing specific surgical techniques, such as laparoscopic assisted cases, are beneficial.

The facility is a short-term acute care center with a focus on diverse surgical specialties.

Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in various surgical procedures.

Travel experience is required for this role.
