Commercial Outside Sales Representative
Crimpco, an established Pye-Barker Fire & Safety branch, is seeking a Commercial Outside Sales Representative to service the DC, Maryland, & Virginia area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and system design related to fire alarm systems, access control systems, camera systems, and related low-voltage life safety systems. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth by pursuing company provided leads and identifying new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. The Outside Sales Representative will focus on promoting our products and services, following up on sales leads, providing technical insights during the sales process, and delivering customized solutions tailored to customer needs across commercial sectors.
We are offering a base salary as well as a competitive commission structure with OTE ranging from $100k-$200k.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
- Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.
- Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
- Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
- Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
- Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
- Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Education / Qualification :
Minimum of three years of Fire Industry experience required.Must be willing to travel across the D.C, Maryland, & Virginia territories.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Excellent sales and negotiation skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Other Duties :
