Tax Manager
A company in Rockville is looking for a Tax Manager to join their team. This position will report to the office Monday through Friday and the salary ranges from $130-$165k, commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities include :
- Supervision of income tax return preparation and review
- Collection of information to project extension payments
- Collection of information to project and adjust quarterly estimates
- Prepare taxes for all trusts
- Responsible for tax accounting of all Private Equity returns
- Gift tax returns
- Responsible for preparation of Gen1 and Gen 3 gift returns
- Manage tax notices received by any taxpayer
- Provide personal financial work as needed such as loan applications and PE filings.
- Manage the tax staff to execute their responsibilities
- Recruits and hires staff and conducts performance reviews
