About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience :

5+ years of experience in Cardiac Cath / Interventional Cardiology is required.

Successful candidates should have experience with Structural Heart and TAVR.

Must have the ability to float to other facilities.

License :

Current Registered Nurse license is required.

Certifications :

AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Must-Have :

Candidates must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster.

Prior travel experience within the last 12 months is required.

Experience in a teaching hospital is preferred.

Description :

The position involves working in the Cath Lab as part of the Interventional Cardiology team.

The candidate will assist in various procedures including diagnostic catheterizations and interventional procedures.

Responsibilities include monitoring patients during procedures and administering medications as needed.

The role requires proficiency in antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, central line insertion, and various cardiac interventional techniques.

Candidates should be knowledgeable in infection prevention and isolation precautions.

They will also be expected to perform tasks such as starting and maintaining IVs, sheath removal, and managing ventilators.

Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care is essential in this role.

Flexibility in floating to different departments or facilities may be required.

Candidates must demonstrate excellent patient assessment and monitoring skills.

The ability to communicate effectively and work well under pressure is crucial.
