Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Gastrointestinal / Endoscopy Technician to support physicians and nurses in performing endoscopic procedures. The technician plays a vital role in preparing procedure rooms, maintaining equipment, and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the endoscopy process.

Key Responsibilities

• P repare procedure rooms by setting up endoscopy equipment and supplies according to established protocols.
• Assist physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures, ensuring proper handling of instruments and patient care.
• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize endoscopy equipment and instruments in accordance with infection control standards.
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient responses during procedures as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs, procedure documentation, and equipment maintenance records.
• Ensure timely availability and proper functioning of all endoscopy-related tools and instruments.
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients undergoing procedures.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
