Position Overview : Saint Marys Regional Health System is seeking an experienced Travel RN to support its Cath Lab services during day shift hours. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge in cardiovascular procedures and be able to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment alongside interventional cardiologists and technicians.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including angiography, PCI, and electrophysiology studies
  • Monitor patient response throughout procedures using cardiac monitors and critical care techniques
  • Administer intravenous medications and conscious sedation
  • Prepare patients and equipment for Cath Lab procedures in accordance with sterile technique standards
  • Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in the EMR system
  • Collaborate with cardiology and radiology teams to ensure timely and effective patient care
  • Participate in emergency response situations including STEMI protocol activations
  • Maintain equipment and supplies, and contribute to overall Cath Lab efficiency and safety

    • Qualifications :

  • Active RN license in Arkansas or compact state eligibility
  • Minimum 2 years recent Cath Lab experience required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and critical care nursing
  • Strong working knowledge of interventional equipment and sterile procedure standards
  • EMR experience preferred
