Schedule Shift : 7A - 5P; Set days : Monday, Wednesday, Friday; Alternating days : Tuesday, Thursday; Rotating call coverage from 6 : 00 p.m. to 6 : 30 a.m. on weekdays and 24 to 48-hour coverage on weekends. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Technologist with exposure to Interventional Radiology (IR). The position entails working with a combined IR and Cardiac Cath team, assisting interventional cardiologists during various procedures. Responsibilities Demonstrates technological proficiency in assisting with procedures in both interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization. Directly assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Communicates clinical observations during procedures to the performing physician. Maintains proficiency in the operation of equipment and troubleshooting. Accountable for accurate procedural documentation in Epic. Understands medications utilized in catheterization procedures and their indications. Monitors patients' hemodynamic status and responds appropriately to fluctuations. Ensures the quality of digital images sent to PACS and verifies patient accuracy.
