About The Position
A well-established medical center is seeking a dedicated and board-certified Gastroenterologist for an inpatient locum-to-perm opportunity. The role focuses on providing high-quality care to adult patients through endoscopic and consultative services. This position offers a balanced schedule, professional support, and the potential for permanent placement.
Job Responsibilities :
- Manage inpatient gastroenterology consultations across Floor, ED, and ICU settings.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including upper and lower GI endoscopies.
- Carry a beeper overnight during the on-call period (approx. 1 : 4 rotation).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR.

Job Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology (Board Certification preferred).Active Massachusetts Medical License (required).BLS Certification (required).ERCP Certification (preferred but not required).Prior inpatient experience strongly preferred.Benefits
