• 1 prior travel assignment
• Proof of pending status for DC license at time of submission
• DC license in hand prior to start date
• Willingness to work the Thanksgiving holiday and every other weekend

Description :

The position is for a Registered Nurse in a Medical / Surgical Telemetry unit.

This unit provides care for adult patients with complex, multisystem diagnoses.

Nurses will manage patients requiring telemetry and close observation.

Responsibilities include the interpretation of dysrhythmias and management of IV therapies.

Nurses are expected to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1 : 5 or 1 : 6.

Staff will receive support from various interdisciplinary teams.

Nurses are expected to comply with isolation precautions for certain patient diagnoses.

Your schedule will include shifts that rotate between days, nights, and weekends.

It is essential that you have experience in telemetry and general medicine.

Candidates must provide two supervisor references.

Compliance with all health and vaccination requirements is mandatory.
