The Principal Solution Architect drives and oversees the functional design and technical architecture of large and complex software solutions that can span multiple platforms and include integration and authentication across systems.
Responsibilities
Develop visions, roadmaps, architecture for software solutions and ensure strategic adoption; technical designs are in line with and help shape the Enterprise Reference Architecture.
Drive functional design, technical architecture and cost estimates for large and complex software solutions.
Lead development of a technical competency center and contribute to Solution Architect COE.
Mentor, train, and act as SME to software engineers and business analysts where needed.
Peer review of technical architecture.
Education
Required : Bachelor; Computer Science, Information Systems / Technology, Software Engineering, Engineering
Preferred : Master or Advanced; Computer Science, Information Systems / Technology, Software Engineering, Business Administration

Experience
Required : 10 years software engineering, minimum of 5 years technical design; expected expert in one, or more, specific skill sets in business and product areas. Mastery of relevant programming languages - Java, Apex, .Net, etc. - SQL, system integration, OOD, SOA, UML, business process modeling. MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, SharePoint. Communication and interpersonal skills necessary to interact with business leaders and stakeholders, IT leaders and technical staff.
Preferred : Worked in a publicly traded company in similar role. Experience in Cloud and other emerging technologies. Development across varying platforms - Force.com, application servers, etc.;skills necessary to utilize Cloud technologies, SaaS, ESB, BRMS, BPM, MQ in developing software solutions. Clarizen, Blue works, Sparx EA.

Starting Compensation
Annual Salary : $124,600.00 - $155,000.00 (Amount based on office location, relevant experience, skills, and competencies)
