Underwriting Specialist – Voluntary Benefits

The Underwriting Specialist is primarily accountable for underwriting Voluntary Supplemental Health proposals and / or in force case activity. The Underwriting Specialist is responsible for underwriting Critical Illness, Accident and Hospital Indemnity cases in accordance with statutory regulations and existing underwriting policies and practices, assessing risk and making and communicating decisions in a manner which contributes to the profitability of the product and reputation of the company.

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $83,500.00 to $129,500.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
