Associate, Process Manager (Brand)
Capital One is seeking a process oriented individual with a passion for continuous improvement to join the Enterprise Brand Governance team and lead our brand protection and domain management processes. The Enterprise Brand Governance team is responsible for protecting Capital One's brands and its digital distinctive assets across the company. Your Responsibilities :
Day to day oversight of our brand protection and domain management processesManage our corporate registrar relationship with our internal and external partnersMonitor, report, and plan process improvement or redesign initiatives, and make recommendations on changes. Collect and analyze data for supporting recommendationsCollect, analyze, and measure process performance data, to initiate sustainable business practices and procedures and for reporting to senior leadership and executives; review data for trends and gaps in the process that may require additional reviewCollaborate on project teams and broader enterprise initiatives to represent business for changes that may impact department processes. May participate in cross-functional project teams, including projects driven by other parts of the organization, to provide input, liaise with training, and partner with groups on execution effortsResolve complex problems, where expertise is required to interpret against policies, guidelines or processes; escalate breakdowns in the process by asking the right questions and identify / involve the right stakeholders to correct breakdownsBuild / maintain formal process documents (e.g. policies, standards, official stances, procedures, presentations, and diagrams)Drive collaboration, set direction, manage expectations, and lead cross-functional teamsEnsure independent escalation of risks, gaps, issues, non-compliance, and concerns to executive management and functional areasBasic Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree or military experienceAt least 2 years of experience in Business Process Management, Project Management, Relationship Management, Change Management, or Risk ManagementPreferred Qualifications :
Experience in brand protection or managing a domain portfolioLean, Agile, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, or Project Management certificationStrong communication skillsClear results orientationAt least 1 year of Financial industry experience or highly regulated industryAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA : $80,100 - $91,400 for Associate, Brand
Richmond, VA : $72,800 - $83,100 for Associate, Brand
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and / or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
