Shift Engineer

Then this Shift Engineer could be the right fit for you. Responsibilities : Monitor the central plant, fire protection systems, and related equipment, and maintain appropriate logs. Oversee the building automation system to ensure proper operation. Conduct preventive maintenance on all required equipment. Keep all materials, tools, and equipment in proper working condition. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the electronic work order system. Conduct monthly maintenance inspections of buildings, grounds, and facilities; may assist inspectors and contractors with testing, inspection, and repairs of equipment, utilities, emergency systems, and structural components. Assist with snow removal and salting to ensure walkways remain safe and accessible. Provide backup assistance to Nursing and Security staff for Independent or Assisted Living residents who have fallen and require help getting up. Monitor pool equipment and maintain detailed logs. Address and resolve equipment or building issues reported by residents, staff, or other customers, including problems with life-line phones, door monitoring and alarm systems, and nursing call-light systems. Respond to emergencies involving plumbing, fire, fire alarms, and emergency generator systems. Perform plumbing, minor electrical, and HVAC repairs in assigned residences and common areas. Order supplies and equipment as authorized by the Engineering Manager. Other duties as assigned. Required Experience : High School Diploma required. Minimum 2 years of experience as a shift engineer. 1st Class Engineer license. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers, freezers and refrigerators. Ability to interact with vendors, visitors, third-party associates, etc. Basic computer skills.
