Job description

Structural Steel Estimator

Location : Lawrenceville, Georgia, office based into hybrid

Salary : $75,000 – $85,000 + Bonus

? About the Role

A busy steel contractor is looking for an Estimator to join their growing preconstruction team. The company works on large commercial and structural projects and needs someone who can help deliver fast, accurate bids.

? Key Duties

Assist with takeoffs and quantity calculations

Prepare estimates for structural and miscellaneous steel

Work alongside senior estimators and project managers

Review drawings and ensure scope is covered correctly

✅ What You’ll Need

2–3 years in a steel estimating or project coordination role

Experience with large projects ($75M–$250M) and 9,000–20,000 ton range.

Strong technical mindset and attention to detail

Experience using tools like Bluebeam or Tekla is helpful

Team player with good communication skills
