Hematology / Oncology Physician

We are hiring Hematology / Oncology Physician for an ongoing locum assignment in Michigan!

Job details :

• Start Date : ASAP
• Shift : Clinic 8a-5p
• Shifts Per Month : Full Time - 5 days per week. But we can accommodate part time (partial weeks or some weeks on / some weeks off)
• On Call Requirements : Rotation with 6 other physicians
• Call Ratio : 1 : 5
• Dates of Coverage : As soon as credentialed 10 months
• Practice Setting : Hospital-based cancer center. Outpatient services
• Patient Population for Required Coverage : Adult, Geriatric
• Percentage of Practice : Assume 50% Hematology and 50% Oncology
• APPs Provide Coverage : 10
• Average Number of Outpatient Per Day : 10-15
• Average Number of Hospital Patients Per Day : 15
• Documentation System / EMR : Epic
• Procedures Required :
• Chemotherapy - Intrathecal
• Chemotherapy - Intracavitary - Intrplueral / Peritoneal
• FNA / Biopsy
• Mgmt. of VAD / CV Catheters
• Duties : Participation on a Tumor Board, Orders Test, Orders Images & Prescribes
