Tutoring of Bethesda is seeking an exceptional educator to provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to Elementary School students in the greater Silver Spring, Maryland area.

• This is for private tutoring located in Montgomery County, MD.  Applicants must live or work in the Greater Sandy Spring area.

This is not a virtual tutoring position!  Duties & Responsibilities :

Conduct in-person, one-on-one tutoring sessions with individually matched elementary school-age students located close to you in the greater Silver Spring area.

Develop and implement personalized lesson plans.

Communicate progress and goals with parents.

Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.

Build student confidence.   Qualifications :

Passion for teaching and engaging with younger students.

Strong knowledge of elementary subjects, particularly ELA and numeracy.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred.

Familiarity with DIBELS, MAP-R, and MAP-M assessments.   Ability to pass a background check.

Experience :

Experience in tutoring or teaching elementary school subjects is a plus.
