Accounts Receivable Specialist
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing the billing process. This involves generating accurate customer invoices, maintaining customer contract folders, and ensuring the timely processing of customer payments. You will also be responsible for monitoring accounts receivable to ensure timely customer payments and addressing overdue invoices. Additionally, you will assist in resolving customer inquiries, performing monthly accounts receivable reconciliation, and preparing various financial reports.
Responsibilities :
- Generate timely and accurate customer invoices.
- Maintain and improve customer contract folders and the documentation process for issued invoices.
- Prepare bank deposits and process all customer payments in the accounting system.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging report to ensure timely customer payments and communicate with managers about overdue invoices.
- Assist in resolving customer inquiries regarding invoicing and the payment process.
- Perform monthly accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Assist in gathering and compiling data for monthly revenue and aging reports and other accounts receivable relevant reports.
Additional Skills & Qualifications :
Associate degree in accounting or related field with relevant work experience.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong problem-solving skills and excellent work ethic.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.General knowledge of GAAP reporting requirements preferred.Advanced analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Experience in billing AIA and construction industry is required.Demonstrated strong project management skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.Interest in process improvement and ability to adapt quickly to changes.Internally motivated to seek out answers, generate ideas, and develop new skills.Pay and Benefits :
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00 / hr.
