About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team and keep our equipment and facilities running at peak performance.
What You’ll Do
Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and complete effective repairs.
Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, motors, die cutters, hydraulic systems, conveyors, steam systems, and related equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
Use hand tools, power tools, forklifts, cranes, and welding equipment for repairs and rebuilds.
Support continuous improvement by recommending solutions to reduce downtime and repetitive issues.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts inventory.
Collaborate with subcontractors and other departments on equipment repairs and upgrades.
Follow all safety protocols including LOTO, PPE use, and 5-S practices.
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of electrical or mechanical maintenance experience (industrial setting preferred).
High school diploma or GED required; trade school or technical training a plus.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance.
Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and work independently.
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding, and fabrication techniques.
Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, maintenance databases).
Forklift and crane operation experience a plus.
Safety-minded, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
Comfortable working in a machine shop environment with varying noise levels, moving machinery, and occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
