Our client is a leading technology company transforming Defense Acquisition through data, automation, and artificial intelligence. Their flagship platform provides AI-enabled applications and world-class data to empower defense and national security organizations with faster, more informed decision-making capabilities.

As the company continues to expand its AI-driven capabilities, they are seeking a customer-obsessed AI / ML Product Mana ger to lead the development and integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning features within their flagship platform. This individual contributor role will own the AI / ML roadmap, driving strategy, execution, and delivery of intelligent solutions that enhance decision-making across the defense ecosystem

What YOU get to DO at this growing company

Define and communica te the AI / ML product strategy and roadmap aligned with company goals, customer needs, and market trends.
Identify and prio ritize high-impact opport unities where AI / ML can automate manual processes, enhance decision-making, and deliver predictive insights.
C onduct user r esearch to understand customer pain points and validate use cases where AI / ML capabilities create measurable value.
Develop de tailed Product Requirements Documents (P RDs), user stories, and success metrics for AI / ML features.
Collaborate closel y with data science, AI / ML engineering, and product design teams to translate technical capabilities into intuitive, user-friendly solutions.
Partner with sales and marketing te ams to articulate the value prop osition of AI / ML features to customers and support go-to-market efforts.
C onduct competitive and market a nalysis to inform positioning, differentiation, and roadmap prioritization.
Balance tradeoffs between innovation speed, technical feasibility, cost, and risk while ensuring seamless integration of AI / ML capabilities into existing workflows.
Monitor post-launch performance and ensure continuous improvement through data-driven insights and user feedback.
Ch ampion AI lea dership within the Defense sector by identifying emerging trends and strategic opportunities.

What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role :

U.S. Citizenship is required

5+ years of product managemen t experience, with at least 3 years focused on AI / ML or data-driven products.

Proven success launching AI / ML-enabled products or features in production environments.

Strong understan ding of the machine learning developme nt lifecycle, including data preparation, model training, validation, deployment, and monitoring.

Excellent ability t o translate complex techni cal concepts into actionable business value and clear product requirements.

Demonstrated experience collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, data science, design, and customer engagement teams.

Strategic thi nker with a customer-f irst mindset and strong value orientation.

Exceptional communication and present ation skills across all levels of the organi

zation.Bachelor s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications :

Active U.S. Security Clearance, or ability to obtain one with sponsorship.

Experience in or e xposure to the Department o f Defense (DoD) or related national security environments.

Experie nce working in startup or entrepreneurial settings.

Fa miliarity with Value Pro posi tion Canvas or Busine ss Model Canvas frameworks.

Advanced degree in a business or technical discipline.
