Title : Field Operations Manager- South Texas Region
Location : Austin, Texas (primary location is Austin with occasional travel to San Antonio and Houston)
The primary function of the operations manager is to be responsible for the successful day-to-day management, administration, and reporting of all business activities including, but not limited to, planning, scheduling, delivery, inventory accuracy, business metrics, and field safety. You will be responsible for improving performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability through the implementation of effective methods and strategies. These duties are meant to optimize current processes in an organized manner that will increase operating efficiency while empowering employees to be successful.
The Operations Manager must successfully adhere to and seek out ways to improve the organization’s levels of service and values.
- Strong operational management and process optimization skills, with experience in streamlining workflows and managing day-to-day business activities.
- Leadership and team management expertise, including staff supervision, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Inventory management, vendor material delivery and coordination skills are crucial to ensure efficient operations and project completion.
- Proficiency in project management and problem-solving to address challenges and enhance overall performance.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Previous experience in a leadership or similar operations management role is highly desirable.
- Technical and Operational leadership a plus
- Highly motivated and self-sufficient
- Effective leader encouraging teamwork and comradery
- Experience in and knowledge of construction and / or elevator industry strongly preferred.
- Some travel required between Austin, San Antonio and Houston
