Job Description Join an esteemed healthcare facility as a Locum Tenens Radiation Oncologist, committed to providing top-tier cancer treatment using advanced technologies and methodologies. This key role encompasses delivering high-quality patient care while engaging in flexible scheduling options of 3-4 days per week, requiring a .6 FTE commitment. Leverage state-of-the-art equipment in a fully accredited and paperless environment in Zanesville, Ohio. Key Details Assignment Type : Locum Tenens Setting : Outpatient Clinic Start Date : November 1, 2025 Schedule : Flexible schedule, 3-4 days per week Patient Population : Adult Location : Zanesville, Ohio Stipends : Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates Benefits Weekly direct deposit Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Supportive credentialing assistance Lodging and mileage reimbursement (if applicable) Flexible scheduling Job Responsibilities Provide radiation oncology services with a focus on external beam therapy, IMRT, and IGRT. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including a clinical manager, nurses, and support staff. Participate actively in conventional treatment planning and clinical trials. Utilize advanced technologies such as Varian TrueBeam and Elekta-Nucletron HDR to deliver high-quality patient care. Qualifications Minimum Board Certification : Certified Radiation Oncologist Required Certifications : BLS, ABLS Familiarity with advanced radiation oncology techniques including SRS, SBRT, and VMAT. Board Certification required with no acceptances through IMLC. Working Hours Varied shifts based on flexible scheduling needs, approximately 3-4 days per week. Skills Proficiency in radiation therapy techniques such as Linear Accelerator, Rapid Arc / VMAT, and Electrons. Strong capability in Conventional / Conformal Therapy, IMRT, SRS, and other specialized oncology treatments. Ability to effectively collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment to enhance patient care services.
