A company is looking for an Analytics Engineer to build and maintain data models and documentation for a public data infrastructure project.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain dbt models and develop new state parsers for assessment files
Write dbt tests, perform data QA, and maintain documentation for auditable outputs
Use Python for data validation and publish updates to a Quarto-based portal
Required Qualifications
Hands-on experience with dbt models in a production environment
Solid SQL skills for debugging complex transformations and identifying data quality issues
Experience working with inconsistent and messy real-world data
Comfort with Python for data analysis tasks
Experience in analytics engineering, data analysis, or a related field, with relevant education preferred
