Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified OB / GYN Physician for a locum tenens opportunity near Glendale, CA. This full-time assignment will provide coverage for maternity leave, offering a great chance to work in a dynamic, supportive outpatient setting.

Key Highlights :

  • Location : Near Glendale, CA
  • Assignment Dates : January 1, 2025 April 1, 2025
  • Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 : 30 AM 5 : 00 PM
  • Practice Setting : Outpatient only no inpatient work or hospital privileges required.
  • Patients Per Shift : Approximately 23 per day.

Clinical Requirements :

  • Board Certification : Required in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Certifications : Active California medical license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Skills Required :

    • Low- and high-risk pregnancies

  • Routine and complicated deliveries, including vaginal and C-sections
  • Procedures like FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds, and endometrial biopsies
  • Minor gynecological procedures : IUD placements, colposcopy, and cryosurgery
  • Laparoscopic and open surgical gynecology

    • Additional Information :

  • Support Team : Includes RNs, MAs, PAs, and office staff to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR) : EPIC system in use.
  • No on-call responsibilities.
