Qualifications

  • Active California RN license and current CPR certification (required)
  • Minimum 3–5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience ; direct personnel management experience preferred
  • Previous experience in long-term care or SNF settings highly desirable
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Dependable, professional, and collaborative; demonstrates consistent attendance and teamwork

  • About the Role

    We’re seeking an experienced and dependable House Supervisor (RN) to lead nursing operations in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. This role is ideal for a strong clinical leader with a passion for patient-centered care and team collaboration. The House Supervisor will oversee nursing staff, ensure quality standards are met, and maintain efficient coordination between nursing personnel and facility administration.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Director of Nursing (DON) and SNF nursing personnel.
  • Supervise and support nursing activities to ensure high-quality resident care and compliance with physician orders, facility protocols, and regulatory standards.
  • Manage staffing schedules, payroll, and overtime approvals; assist in hiring, disciplinary actions, and staff evaluations in coordination with leadership.
  • Assist with policy and procedure development, ensuring compliance with accreditation and licensing requirements.
  • Support budget development and management for SNF nursing operations.
  • Maintain effective communication with medical staff, administration, and other departments.
  • Lead staff education and training initiatives and assist in the onboarding of new nursing personnel.
