• The Ideal Candidate

ERSC is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and initiative-taking Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Design Engineer with a solid foundation in potable and recycled water distribution systems and wastewater collection systems. The ideal candidate thrives in collaborative environments and brings both technical precision and creative problem-solving to water-related infrastructure projects. As a Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Design Engineer, you will support tasks in planning, design, and construction management of water and wastewater projects, including master planning, hydraulic modeling, conceptual system design, and preliminary and detailed design infrastructure improvements. You will utilize specialized engineering software for hydraulic modeling, condition assessment, analysis, and design. While working under close supervision, you will contribute as a planner and designer on complex and non-routine assignments, helping to deliver sustainable and resilient engineering solutions.

• Duties

Primary responsibilities include :

• Assist in the planning, design, and construction management of municipal water and wastewater projects
• Prepare construction documents, including plans, specifications, and cost estimates for water-related infrastructure.
• Utilize GIS and AutoCAD / Civil 3D for mapping, analysis, and design.
• Contribute to master plans, technical reports, feasibility studies, and grant applications for municipal water projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and the public.
• Performs all other tasks assigned by Managing Engineer.
• Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related field with a focus on water and wastewater infrastructure.
• 2–7 years of experience in engineering, preferably with municipal or public agency projects.
• Proficiency in water and wastewater hydraulic modeling software.
• Proficient in design tools (e.g. Civil 3D).
• Working knowledge of application of design criteria to system planning and infrastructure design.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Pay : $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
