Job Title : Director of Schuyler County
General Description
Under the supervision of the CCCS Executive Director and as a member of the Catholic Charities of Chemung / Schuyler Senior Leadership Team, direct and manage the operation of the Schuyler County office, as well as the CCCS Domestic Violence services for Schuyler and Chemung counties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Serves as the area leader for Schuyler County by overseeing CCCS employees who work in Schuyler County, partnering with other CCCS program leaders who have program leadership responsibilities for Schuyler County services (see attached information), and by fostering professional relationships with Schuyler County and Village / City officials, and area human service providers
- Serves as the CCCS program leader for Schuyler Office services that include the following : domestic violence victims (in Schuyler and Chemung Counties), and Schuyler county services regarding RSP rental assistance, and youth advocacy, including runaways and the Safe Harbour program. For these services, this responsibility includes providing community and agency training, and community support groups, assisting (Katie Rhodes) in grant applications and reporting, and program record keeping; plus, providing program leadership responsibility for employees serving domestic violence victims in both Schuyler and Chemung Counties.
- Participates in CCCS strategic planning processes to help create plans for continuous CCDOR mission advancement in Schuyler County, as well as continuous development of our CCCS domestic violence services.
- Collaborates with other CCCS leaders in the development and implementation of the annual operating plan and budget for Schuyler County services, plus, for domestic violence services to Chemung County, for incorporation into the CCCS plan and budget processes.
- Acts as liaison to the NY State Office of Victim Services, NY State Office of Children and Family Services, and Schuyler County Youth Bureau.
- Ensures Schuyler Office compliance with CCDOR and CCCS policies and procedures.
- Assists in the recruitment of Schuyler County CCCS Council members (with the Executive Director) and Agency volunteers (with Katie Rhodes), and provide other community outreach efforts.
- Participates as a member of the CCCS senior leadership team.
- Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree in social work, business administration, public administration or related field preferred
Associates degree in social work, business administration, public administration r related field required
Credentials : Valid NY State Driver License and access to a reliable vehicle
Experience : A minimum of three years’ experience in human service management with proven skills in program management, program development, contract administration and fiscal management.
Relevant years of experience and education will be considered
Special Qualifications :
24 x 7 emergency on call availability
