Companion Volunteers Wanted

Would you like to make an impact in someone's life? Commonwealth Hospice is currently looking for compassionate people to help make a difference in our patient's lives. Being a volunteer in hospice is very satisfying and rewarding!

Companion volunteers can provide a plethora of activities to our patients, such as :

• General companionship (sitting and having a conversation)
• A weekly phone call to a patient
• Playing card / board games
• Reading books / poetry
• Watching a movie / TV Show
• Doing puzzles
• Singing songs
• Manicures / Pedicures

Commonwealth Hospice services patients in many areas throughout the Pittsburgh area such as :

Greentree, Whitehall, Baldwin, Jefferson Hills, Bethel Park, Mt. Lebanon, McKees Rocks, West Mifflin, Pleasant Hills, McKeesport, Bellvue, McCandless, Gibsonia, Bridgeville, Upper St. Clair, Oakmont, Penn Hills, Allison Park, Oakdale, Robinson, Kennedy Township, and many more surrounding areas.
