Job Title : Controller

Location : Akron, OH

Salary : $90,000 - $100,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee all accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations.
  • Lead the annual budget process, preparing reports and supporting staff.
  • Manage the annual audit and maintain strong internal controls.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering development and accountability.
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management, board, and external stakeholders.

    • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with supervisory responsibility.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
