Direct Support Professional

Pauline and Thomas Healthcare (P&T) is a non-profit organization serving individuals with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities. P&T is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in Murfreesboro, Tennessee to support and serve our individuals in leading them to be independent and have an amazing quality of life.

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $13.75hr - $16.00hr

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Schedule: We have the shifts and times listed below available for all Direct Support Professionals

• 1st shift: 7am - 3pm - working days vary
• 2nd shift: 3pm - 11pm - Monday - Friday

Direct Support Professional Responsibilities:

• Responsible for only (2) two individuals
• Assist individuals with disabilities with their daily living and independence skills/personal care (may include grooming, bathing, feeding).
• Implement Individual Support Plans (ISP)
• Administer medication(s) and complete appropriate documentation.
• Accompany person supported to medical appointments.
• Foster a meaningful relationship between the individuals and their community.

Direct Support Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid Driver's License
• High School Diploma/GED
• I9 Identification (Social Security Card, Passport, etc.)
• Required to walk or stand regularly
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must be able to crawl, kneel, climb, stop and squat
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate verbally in English
