D&R Autoworks is a leading independent automotive service center in Highland Park, IL , specializing in European vehicles including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, and Porsche. We’re seeking a skilled European Automotive Technician (B-Level) to join our growing team.

  • Shop Location : D&R Autoworks – 1454 Old Deerfield Rd, Highland Park, IL 60035
  • Shop Hours : Monday–Friday, 7 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM CST

What You’ll Do :

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain European vehicles using OEM-level tools and equipment.
  • Perform high-quality work that meets manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with service advisors and fellow technicians to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Stay current with training and certifications to maintain technical expertise.

    • What We’re Looking For :

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with European vehicles.
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
  • ASE Certification preferred (or equivalent).
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Compensation & Pay Structure :

    Flat Rate : $25 - $35 / HR

  • Bi-weekly Guarantee : 65 hours at base rate, if at least 80 hours are worked in the pay period.
  • Accelerator Tiers :

    • Tier 1 : +$4 / hr for 60–69.99 billed hours

  • Tier 2 : +$6 / hr for 70–79.99 billed hours
  • Tier 3 : +$8 / hr for 80+ billed hours

    • (Accelerators apply retroactively to all hours worked in the pay period)

    • Requirements :

  • 3+ years of Automotive Repair experience.
  • Strong ability to diagnose and perform steering, suspension & alignment services.
  • Strong ability to diagnose and perform heating & cooling services.
  • Some ability to diagnose and repair electrical related issues.
  • Some ability to diagnose and repair engine related issues.
  • Previous experience and / or working knowledge of digital vehicle inspections.
  • Have your own tools and a valid driver's license.
  • Strong character & work ethic with a positive attitude.
