Responsibilities
As a Patient Care Coordinator , you will play a key role in ensuring our patients feel welcomed and their visits run smoothly. You will be the first point of contact for our patients, managing their schedules, assisting with inquiries, and helping to maintain a positive and organized environment.
Greet patients and visitors warmly, both in person and over the phone, addressing inquiries or directing them to the appropriate team memberSchedule appointments efficiently to maximize patient satisfaction and provider availabilityPrepare daily schedules for providers and organize patient files for examination or treatmentGer accurate insurance verification and breakdowns.Ensure smooth patient flow by keeping providers informed of any schedule delaysAdministrative Support : Keep patient records accurate and up-to-date, answer calls and emails, transfer records and manage additional tasks to ensure an efficient office flow.Maintain a clean and organized reception areaSupport patients with insurance paperwork and billing questions.Help in billing questions , collect payments and send invoices for balances. Send claims and post EOBs.Insurance Coordination : Assist patients in navigating their insurance benefits for seamless financial coordination.Manage office mail, including sorting and sending outgoing mailCommunication : Maintain open, effective communication with patients, dental staff, and partners to foster a coordinated, holistic approach to patient care.Make patient phone calls to confirm appointments, reschedule appointments, resolve patient issuesWhy Join Waterford Dental?

High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrior experience in an administrative or customer service role preferred, prior dental office experience is a plusWarm and professional demeanor, ability to make others feel welcomeEffective communicator, ability to be clear in all verbal and written communicationsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailA commitment to punctuality, teamwork, and cross-functional dutiesHave a positive, caring attitude and be a great team playerBenefits :
