Transforming Pediatric Urology in Dallas UT Southwestern Medical Center and Children’s Health seek an exceptional leader to serve as Division Chief, Pediatric Urology. This is a unique opportunity to lead a nationally ranked division at a world-class academic medical center, driving innovation in clinical care, research, and education. As Division Chief, you will shape the future of pediatric urology, advancing clinical excellence, academic leadership, and multidisciplinary collaboration. You will oversee a highly competitive fellowship program, mentor faculty and trainees, and foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and innovation.

The Role

Position : Division Chief, Pediatric Urology

Location : Dallas, Texas

Reporting Relationship : Claus G. Roehrborn, MD, Professor and Chair, Department of Urology

Key Responsibilities :

  • Set and execute strategic vision for the division
  • Oversee clinical operations, financial performance, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Mentor faculty, fellows, and residents; foster a culture of teamwork and accountability
  • Advance research, education, and clinical missions in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Lead through major campus expansion and innovation in pediatric care
  • The Candidate

    The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with :

  • Board certification in Urology (American Board of Urology) and subspecialty certification in Pediatric Urology
  • Minimum 5 years’ clinical experience in pediatric urology
  • Demonstrated success in academic leadership, quality improvement, and team building
  • Eligibility for Texas medical licensure
  • Commitment to advancing clinical quality, patient safety, and research productivity
