The Rooms Leader-in-Development (LID) program is an 18-month initiative aimed at developing graduates into successful managers in their chosen division. The Rooms LID will work 40 hours weekly within the department and 10 hours on Learning Commitments, totaling 50 hours. These commitments involve projects that teach general hotel operations and specific division functions. Participants will explore the beautiful Omni Homestead Resort and enjoy onsite housing and meal plans.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform all aspects of Front Office and Housekeeping operations
• Oversee staff performance and take corrective actions when necessary
• Schedule staff
• Maintain accurate payroll records
• Clean and inspect guest rooms
• Respond to guest requests and complaints
• Monitor product inventory and order additional products
• Interview and select staff
• Follow up on established training steps
• Handle guest comments and complaints to ensure satisfaction
• Communicate with guests and receive feedback
• Ensure operations meet Omni Hotels standards
• Meet with Division head weekly, Director of Human Resources monthly, and corporate mentor bi-monthly
