, an East Bay Project / Construction Management firm specializing in public agency and nonprofit building and park projects, is seeking hands-on Assistant Project / Construction Managers, for projects in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. These positions are responsible for assisting with management of design and construction / closeout phases and as required during pre-construction phases, as well as providing process management support throughout for individual projects.
Qualified candidates must have experience with public agency projects, working on site during construction phases of projects, and with reporting / budgets / schedules.

Responsibilities include :
Supporting achievement of project goals and objectivesExecuting work plans for successful project deliveryWorking to achieve project schedules and communicating key tasks / milestones / deadlines to stakeholdersMonitoring / tracking project budgetsAttending project meetings and other meetings and providing meeting minutesCoordinating with construction contractor and other project team member contractsMonitoring / documenting on site work progress, compliance with contract requirements, safety and site conditionsReviewing / monitoring / maintaining project recordsProducing project correspondence as neededCoordinating with third-party consultants and permitting agenciesSupporting a cohesive project team atmosphereSupporting good client relationshipsQualifications :
5-8 years of experience in construction management / construction / architecture / engineering / general contracting4+ years of experience providing services on active construction sitesStrong organizational and project management skills to meet schedules and deadlinesCapacity to work on multiple projects and support multiple clients, in a fast-paced environmentAbility to coordinate the needs / tasks of project team members (clients, designers, contractors, other consultants)Excellent attention to detailStrong skills with Excel, Word, MS Project, and OutlookDegree in construction management, architecture or engineering highly desirableFor consideration, please reply with resume and list of project experience.
