Overview

Join to apply for the Design Architect role at LRS Architects, Inc. We are seeking a Design Architect with a strong design sensibility and an emphasis on conceptual and schematic development to join our Commercial + Housing studios. This role is ideal for an architect who is passionate about design excellence and eager to help shape projects of varying scales that reflect innovation, creativity, and functionality.

What You’ll Do

  • Contribute to the overall design vision and execution for commercial and housing projects
  • Translate client goals, program, and budgets into compelling architectural design solutions
  • Collaborate closely with the Design Manager, Principals, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Participate in design presentations and communicate ideas effectively to clients and stakeholders
  • Develop design documents from concept through construction documentation, ensuring alignment with firmwide standards and project requirements
  • Coordinate with consultants, jurisdictions, and team members to support design and technical accuracy

    • Skills And Experience We Value

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
  • 6–12+ years of relevant architectural experience, with a focus on commercial and / or housing projects.
  • Proficiency in design software (Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and related tools).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design-focused work.
  • Licensure in architecture preferred but not required.
