Locum Physician (MD / DO) - Oncology - General / Other in Oregon

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Radiation Oncologist for a 15-day locum tenens assignment in Oregon, beginning Jan 5, 2026. This opportunity features day shifts from 7am to 5pm and a defined schedule of intermittent coverage dates across several months. The ideal candidate will join a multidisciplinary oncology team to provide comprehensive evaluation and management for patients requiring radiation therapy. Job Details Location : Oregon Start Date : Jan 5, 2026 LOA : 15 days Provider Type Needed : Radiation Oncologist Schedule : 7am to 5pm; scheduled dates include Jan 5, Jan 30, Mar 9, Apr 8-10, Apr 27, May 11, Jun 11-12, and Jun 15-19 Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of patients requiring radiation therapy Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans in collaboration with dosimetrists and physicists Conduct on-treatment visits, follow-up appointments, and consultations with referring physicians Participate in tumor boards and collaborate with multidisciplinary oncology teams Ensure accurate documentation, quality assurance, and adherence to safety protocols Contribute to a compassionate, patient-centered care environment within the cancer program Additional Information Board certification or eligibility in Radiation Oncology required Active Oregon medical license required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required At least 2 years of post-training clinical experience preferred Prior experience in a hospital-based or comprehensive cancer center setting strongly desired Skilled in treatment planning and modern radiation delivery techniques Strong communication and teamwork skills within a multidisciplinary oncology team Familiarity with community-based cancer programs is a plus Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
