CNC Machinist - Day Shift | Gatan, Inc.

If you're passionate about machining complex, low-volume parts and want to work in a dynamic R&D environment, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do :

• Program, set up, and operate CNC and manual machines (lathes, mills, grinders, saws, etc.)
• Work independently to machine parts to tight tolerances (from under 0.06" to 24")
• Collaborate with engineers and programmers to improve part machinability and reduce costs
• Perform first / last piece and in-process inspections
• Troubleshoot machining issues and suggest improvements
• Mentor junior machinists and share your expertise
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area (5S standards)

Compensation

Employee Type : Hourly

Salary Minimum : $55,000

Salary Maximum : $80,000
