Job descriptionRoom and prepare patients for examination Take and record vital signs Perform phlebotomy and administer vaccines Conduct EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing Support scheduling and front-desk operations Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR Assist healthcare providers with procedures and patient education Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Assistant experience (excluding externship) Medical Assistant Certification preferred Occupational health experience is a strong plus Proficient in phlebotomy / venipuncture and using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Strong attention to detail and excellent patient interaction skills Current BLS or CPR certification required Front and back office experience Phlebotomy and POC testing EKG administration Patient scheduling and rooming Taking and recording vitals
