About The Position

Job Title : Electrophysiology Technologist

Profession : Electrophysiology

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in electrophysiology cases, specifically ablations and pacing

License : IL License required

Certifications : ARRT, BLS

Must-Have : Experience with electrophysiology cases, including ablations.

Description :

Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting.

Operate conventional, fluoroscopic, or radiology equipment to obtain images of designated body parts according to physician specifications and orders.

Assist the physician with the performance of various diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Monitor and pass instruments and catheters during procedures.

Observe patient responses to procedures and maintain a sterile field.

Interpret and evaluate diagnostic data to be utilized by the physician.

Applicable Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Radiology required or must have completed an accredited radiology technology program.

Special procedures experience preferred.

This position requires one night of call per week and one weekend every fourth weekend.
