Location : Charleston, SC – Must live in / relocate to the Greater CHS Area

What You’ll Be Rocking as Our Financial Controller :

Strategic Financial Leadership

  • Drive business-critical decisions with rock-solid financial models and smart forecasting.
  • Deliver powerful insights that shape pricing, product development, and market expansion.
  • Partner with visionary execs to scale our financial strategy alongside our explosive growth.

Supervising, Mentoring, and Developing

  • Manage and review the work of 2 staff accountants in charge of AP & AR
  • Help them grow into more financial accounting
  • Have fun with them

    • Accounting Excellence & Financial Reporting

  • Lead all accounting operations like a pro—from AP / AR to payroll and general ledger.
  • Ensure flawless financial reporting, GAAP compliance, and bulletproof internal controls.
  • Implement best-in-class systems to elevate accuracy, speed, and transparency.

    • Cash Flow & Compliance Mastery

  • Keep our cash flowing and our growth glowing—monitor liquidity and support investments.
  • Stay ahead of compliance across tax, audits, and evolving financial regulations.

    • Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work shoulder-to-shoulder with Sales, Operations, Procurement, and more.
  • Be the strategic finance voice behind key business initiatives and innovations.

    • What You Bring to the Table as Our Financial Controller :

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or similar (CPA or MBA? Even better!).
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership—ideally in wholesale / retail.
  • Deep knowledge of financial management, controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in tools like Business Dynamics, SAP, Shopify, and Excel wizardry.
  • A sharp communicator who makes complex finance info clear, compelling, and actionable.
  • A problem-solver at heart with a relentless focus on optimization and results.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting where no two days are the same.
