Job description

Job Summary :

This position is for a Certified OR Tech responsible for scrubbing various surgical procedures including ortho / totals, spine, general, bariatrics, GYN, urology, C-sections, ENT, and plastics. The role involves call duties, weekend shifts, and holiday requirements.

Location : Salisbury, North Carolina, United States

Responsibilities :

  • Scrubbing for ortho / totals, spine, general, bariatrics, GYN, urology, C-sections, ENT, and plastics surgeries.
  • Participating in an average of 1 night of call per week.
  • Participating in 1 weekend shift per 6-week schedule.
  • Assisting with 25 cases per day.
  • Participating in unit orientation.
  • Adhering to schedule as per unit needs.

Required Skills & Certifications :

  • Minimum 2 years of experience.
  • Experience scrubbing ortho / totals and spine surgeries.
  • Experience scrubbing general, bariatrics, GYN, and urology surgeries.
  • Experience scrubbing C-sections, ENT, and plastics surgeries.
  • Accurate skills matching 3's or above on skills checklist for Trauma, Ortho, General, and Urology cases.
  • BCLS certification.
  • NBSTSA or NCCT certification.

    • Preferred Skills & Certifications :

  • Traveler experience.

    • Special Considerations :

  • RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite.
  • Call-offs or additional RTO could result in cancellation.
  • Holidays are required.
  • Must be available for an interview within 72 hours of submission.

    • Scheduling :

  • 12-hour day shifts (06 : 30a - 7p).
  • Call required : Average of 1 night per week and 1 weekend in a 6-week schedule.
  • Required weekend shifts : 1 per 6-week schedule.
  • Schedule is per unit needs.
