Position Overview :
As a Paramedic, your dedicated role involves providing compassionate and high-quality patient care through a combination of basic and advanced medical services. We pride ourselves on serving our community with professionalism and care.
Your Key Responsibilities :
Assess and evaluate each call to determine the most effective response.Utilize advanced medical equipment and procedures to deliver optimal patient care.Effectively communicate with patients and their families, providing reassurance throughout the care process.Lead the paramedic team, managing the scene and operations as necessary.Collaborate professionally with fellow paramedics and allied health personnel.Utilize triage skills to enhance efficiency during emergency calls.Ensure patient care aligns with safety protocols and clinical guidelines.Lift and transport patients as needed to ensure their well-being.Coordinate with medical facilities to relay critical patient information.Drive the ambulance safely, utilizing navigation skills to minimize response times.Maintain necessary paramedic certifications at all times.Keep the ambulance unit clean, stocked, and ready for emergency response.Accurately document all patient care activities and billing information.Adhere to company policies and information security protocols.Additional Responsibilities :
Engage in community programs to foster a positive AMR image and strengthen community relations.Regularly interact with existing customers and healthcare facilities to ensure their needs are met.Accomplish other duties as directed.Minimum Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).Current National Registry Paramedic Certification.Ability to obtain a Montana State Paramedic License within 60 days of hire.Valid State Driver's License.Current BLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP certifications.Driving record that meets safety and policy standards.Experience :
