• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.\n
• Must have at least 24 months of Neurologic Intensive Care Unit experience.\n
• Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.\n
• BSN completion preferred\n\nRequirements\n
• Candidates must have a District of Columbia license (required for submission).\n
• This role will require floating to multiple units Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.\n
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.\n
• 12 months between Staff at Program : Aya Program - MedStar Health\n\nPre-employment modules may be required for this role. Skills : Level 1 trauma and Pulmonary Artery Lines , IV Starts, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion / Removal, CVA / Acute Stroke management, External ventricular drain (EVD), ICP monitoring, Post Neurosurgery management, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, Surgical Wounds with drains / Wound Vac.\n\nSpecial Requests : RTO must be on the submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review. No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment.\n\nShift & Scheduling : The majority of the shifts are day shifts. Up to two weeks of the six week schedule could be nights shifts. No Call Requirements (Rotating A / P, D / E, D / N - unless specified Night Shift), 36 or 48hrs, Every other weekend, holidays as needed).\n\nFloating Requirements : Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.\n\n7 days maximum time off\n\n2 references from last 3 years (Manager / Supervisor reference type) - required for submission\n\nProof of identification required\n\nCertifications\n
