Roles & Responsibilities
Provide production support for JDE applications to resolve issues within agreed SLAs.
Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues.
Document root causes, resolutions, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) .
Provide on-call support for business-critical applications.
Monitor production alerts and handle critical escalations promptly.
Manage incident tickets , including customer-reported and related incidents.
Support the generation of daily / weekly / monthly reports and dashboards .
Participate in change management and maintenance windows for outages.
Analyze requirements , functional , and architectural design documents to determine necessary coding and development needs.
Prepare technical design documents , including flowcharts , diagrams , and pseudo code to describe logical operations.
Develop / modify code for bug fixes and system enhancements.
Lead or participate in project team meetings , test plan reviews , and walk-throughs .
Provide time estimates for completion of development tasks and technical designs.
Coordinate work and assist team members to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
Design, create, and maintain unit test plans ; perform tests to validate functionality.
Track defects identified during code reviews and testing phases.
Proactively provide status updates on assigned tasks and projects.
Work with various SDLC methodologies such as Waterfall, Scrum, Iterative, and Agile .
Technical Skills & Experience Requirements
E3 – IBM i (iSeries / AS400) experience.
E3 – JDE WorldSoft 7.3 , JDE OMS , and JDE Integrations .
E3 – Strong experience in SQL on AS400 (SQL400) .
E2 – CLLE, RPGLE, SQLRPGLE programming experience.
E2 – Strong experience in IWS .
E1 – Nice to have :
Experience with ServiceNow (Help Desk Support).
Experience with Clarity (Project Management and Time Reporting).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies .
