Distribution Center Operations Supervisor (Inventory Control)

The Distribution Center Operations Supervisor (Inventory Control) directs workflow for warehouse colleagues and leads their team to meet and exceed daily targets. The Supervisor also manages day to day work operations for front store and pharmacy and evaluates work performance. In addition, you will direct product flow and shipments to ensure a streamlined process.

What you will do :

  • Assist with coordination of processes and assignments for the distribution area to ensure the delivery of consistent work products
  • Oversee cycle counts, metrics, and tracking
  • Execute daily activities and operational plans for the distribution area's strategies to enhance the culture of excellence and innovation across the enterprise
  • Manage day-to-day operations in a warehouse section to ensure daily targets are met or exceeded
  • Conduct performance appraisals using various reports, summaries, and procedures as necessary to resolve problems and improve employee efficiency and warehouse operations
  • Analyze reports and provides recommendations to the operations manager on best practices for the section
  • Coordinate processes and assignments for areas within the warehouse to achieve a balanced workload and meet daily operational metrics
  • Define terms for conducting tasks and establishes new priorities for assignments to meet operational success
  • Manage team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development

This role is first shift Monday-Friday 5 : 30AM- end of shift with additional flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Required Qualifications :

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Inventory Control
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Working knowledge of collaboration and teamwork
  • Working knowledge of execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
  • Working knowledge of business intelligence
  • Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills
  • Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Project Management Experience
  • Education : Verifiable High School Diploma / GED

    Anticipated Weekly Hours : 40

    Time Type : Full time

    Pay Range : The typical pay range for this role is : $43,888.00 - $85,068.00
