Job Title : Janitorial Worker

We are seeking a dedicated janitorial worker with prior experience in sanitation. The role requires candidates to handle materials as they come off production machines, build boxes, and stage materials for shipping in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Pack materials efficiently as they come off the production line.
• Build boxes and prepare materials for shipping.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in designated areas.
• Adhere to cleanroom protocols, including wearing the required attire.
• Communicate effectively with leads, supervisors, and managers.
• Read and interpret Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Orders.

Work Environment

Work on the 1st shift from 7am to 3pm in a medical device company cleanroom environment. Candidates must be comfortable wearing cleanroom attire, including a hair net, eye protection, and close-toed shoes. The environment is temperature-controlled, promoting a pleasant working atmosphere. Lockers are available for personal belongings, and candidates can wear shorts or pants under cleanroom attire. Be prepared to sit or stand for up to 11 hours a day.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vernon Hills, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
