Supply Chain Intern - Kiewit Offshore Services (Summer 2026)

This position is located at Kiewit Offshore Services (KOS) headquarters in Ingleside, TX.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate, renegotiate, and administer contracts with suppliers, vendors and other representatives
- Purchase the highest quality materials at the lowest possible cost in correct amounts per specifications and drawings
- Maintain and review computerized or manual records of items purchased, costs, deliveries, product performance, and inventories
- Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities and the supplier's reputation and history
- Evaluate and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and determine needs for changes
- Prepare purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services
- Design and present an End of Program Presentation to showcase your work and development throughout this internship
Qualifications
Ability to work full-time during the summer (approximately May-August)Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Supply Chain Management or relatedGenuine interest and passion for the field of purchasing / procurementStrong customer service and communication skillsDetail-oriented, highly motivated with ability to effectively manage timeTeam player with the ability to work well independentlyAbility to maintain excellent attendanceMust pass pre-employment drug screen and background checkPreferred Skills : Technical knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Customer service and leadership experienceOther Requirements :
